Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects is providing full design services for this 55,000-SF facility that will be heavily oriented toward an automated manufacturing environment consisting of lab and classroom space. The facility will include Academic Affairs space; Administrative Services space; Student Services space; Student Lounge; General Campus Activities space including Conference Rooms; Lecture/Conference Rooms; Faculty/Staff Lounge-kitchen; Catering Kitchen and Library. Industrial Technologies Lab/Classroom Space including programs in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, and Electronics. The new branch campus will serve the northern part of the college’s services area, one of the fastest growing areas in the state and one of the hardest hit by job losses in the manufacturing sector. It is envisioned the Catoosa County Campus will support regional industrial expansion. The Catoosa County Campus will provide the technical training to meet the skill sets required by these industries.
