Loren C. Wright, AIA has over 16 years of architectural experience. As the Managing Director of the Pittsburgh office, Loren oversees a broad range of projects from multiple market types. He leads the Pittsburgh office in project delivery from the development of the concept that meets the Owner’s need through Construction turn over. Loren graduated from The University of Florida with a Masters in Architecture degree. He is a registered Architect in the States of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, certified by NCARB and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Loren regularly conducts charettes at the project inception to assist the project team with sharpened insight. In the photos shown above, Loren is featured conducting a charette at the University of Pittsburgh.
Loren has been involved with the Education Partnership as both an advisor to the COO as well as in a design capacity for over 10 years. In short, the Education Partnership’s mission is to “bridge the needs gap” for materials for education and advancement. This year, Loren serves on the Education Partnership’s Board of Directors to assist with presentations to potential donors and continued development advice.
Loren began playing ice hockey in his junior year in High School. After moving to Florida in his senior year and subsequently attending the University of Florida, ice hockey was put on hold. Upon joining POH in Atlanta after graduation, he was able to rekindle this passion and has been playing in various leagues and levels since 1997.

Loren is also an avid golfer. The photos shown below are at Oakmont - right after the US Open was played there. This location is considered one of the toughest courses in the US.
