First Redeemer - Preschool and Worship

(770) 569-1706

Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects designed the Redeemer Kids for the youngest children in the First Redeemer Church congregation. Worship for children has become an increasingly important aspect of religious communities as they strive to provide engaging family experiences. This addition will allow parents to attend worship while their kids actively participate in meaningful activities.

The addition features a worship theater, where children can participate in age-appropriate worship activities, such as singing and storytelling. The theater space supports the church's innovative approach to the development of worship services specifically designed for children.

The design includes an indoor playground, providing a safe and enjoyable space for children to play and interact with their peers. This interactive approach allows children to connect with their faith in a way that resonates with their developmental stage.

To ensure the safety of all children, a secure check-in system is implemented, giving parents peace of mind while they participate in worship, education, and fellowship.

Through these innovative design approaches, worship for children has evolved to meet the unique needs of families, creating a nurturing and enriching environment for children to explore their faith.
