The Milk Shake Factory

(770) 569-1706

The Milk Shake Factory is one of three Edward Marc Brands, a local Pittsburgh fine chocolatier company. Pieper O’Brien Herr Architects designed four stores in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. Our firm has established a long-term plan to assist with the future growth of the brand and develop the necessary documentation sufficient for permitting and construction utilizing prototypical designs and details. The layouts will range in size from 1,000 to 2,500 SF.

The Cranberry store is a flagship design and will total 2,200-SF. The stores typically contain a front of house area with custom retail displays for the fine chocolates, point-of-sale desk, ordering kiosks, and built-in benches for seating. The production line includes two ice cream machines, a mixing and inclusion station, three bowl sinks for cleanup and storage, and freezer space all arranged for maximum efficiency. The layouts are designed for high volume but kept upscale and offer globe lighting, hanging milk bottle racks systems, site specific branding and a great mix of the mom and pop ice creamery details.
