What was once an outdated and uninspiring environment has been transformed into the dynamic School of Education, comfortably housing faculty offices and modern classrooms. Posvar Hall, formerly known as Forbes Quadrangle, is an iconic fixture of the University of Pittsburgh. The Pieper O'Brien Herr Architects team designed the refreshed space to adapt to the growing faculty, presenting all with a revitalized and beautiful workplace.
The open feel and abundance of windows rejuvenates the formerly dark and drab space, while unique light fixtures and interesting patterns diversify the space. Featuring a combination of flexible classrooms, conference rooms, and social seating, the renovation successfully merges functionality and creative vision.
